Just Who Is Gus?

We knew this question would come up eventually. After all who names a digital marketing agency “Gus”?

At Why Not Gus we believe in levity and fun, the business world is already to stuffy as it is. We use our experience to bring a fun and targeted approach to your needs, without losing sight of the end goal in mind.

“Gus” the gator has a personal story which we can only tell you a small portion of. Gus (the original gator) is actually a stuffed animal that was originally created by the founder of Ryan’s World, an extremely popular YouTube Channel and worldwide enterprise. Gus the Gummy Gator as he is originally called has delighted children the world over for a few years now.

The founder of Why Not Gus originally purchased a stuffed animal in 2018 in the state of Florida. Initially he thought the funny looking gator was some sort of mascot for a local university team, but was to find out later quite by accident of the fame this little green and yellow gator had enjoyed.

The gator stuffed animal travelled with our founder to over 25 countries and has seen the world from the point of view of a backpack. Our founder has seen many times in the world what happens when the people who need a business cannot find what they are looking for.

Why Not Gus is a funny spin on that original gator, who for copyright reasons likely could not be the mascot for a leading digital marketing agency. The gator in the masthead of our company logo is a close facsimile but not at all identical to that image.

We believe the name lets people know that at Why Not Gus we are serious and fun all at once, and we hope to work with you in that manner bringing you serious results for your business, while keeping it light and fun at the same time.
